GRRRRR
A few of my pet pieves
1) Warm up is for the goalie, not for the shooters to practice their slap shots with no preasure, and from 15 feet out. Not to mention guys who pick the corners in warm up, im glad that you can hit the open net with no presure on you and with lots of time to shoot while you are standing still, you should call up your local HNL team, im sure their looking for a real snipper like yourself, dumbass.
2) D-men who hang around the front of the net screening his own goalie. Im not really interested in looking at your ass all night, go move some guys or atleast force the shooters instead of blocking shots and letting your repounds sit at your feet so that now that i am down and out the shooter can pick up the puck you just stopped and get a really good shot becaue its not sitting in the crease, and i have no idea where it is.
3) D-men who try stopping the puck with thier stick, not relizing they are tipping the pucks on me.
3) D-men who keep backing in untill they are standing ontop of the goalie, frigg, doing something is better than nothing. Try standing up the forward or angling him to the outside, i get some many d-men that keep backing in and only creat sceens for me.
4) Weight of the gear, cant they make this stuff lighter?
5) Parking, why dont that have designated goalie parking close to the doors instead of having to lug 50lbs of equipment from the back of the parking lot
6) Zamboni drivers that think more water is the answer to resurfacing the ice. Why cant they discover a better way to clean the ice that doesn't involve going through the crease last and leaving huge puddles in the nets. Nothing worse then a puck that stops dead during warm up, and not to mention splish-splashing around in a pudding for the warm up and your gear is all drenched by the time the game starts. Not to mention that when the game does start the ice in the crease never actually freezes it stays soft and you can slide, it becomes like glue to your pads. This is during the winter, i dont even want to get into summer hockey (buddy of mine brings his own squeegy)
7) Cold water in showers
8) toilets that look like port-o-potes after a Kiss concert
9) nets that are not pegged down, its a problem when you push off the post and the net goes flying
*Funny story - one night i made a glove save and the shooter hacked at my glove so i gave him a good wack in the shins, he wined to the ref and the ref said "dont hit the goalie and he wont hit you"
10) Why does goalie gear cost so damb much?
11) White equipment is like finding a pearl in the ocean, everyone seems like like it, but unless you custom order it, its very rare to see white gear on the rack.
Thats about it!

More from me
1) When your teammates tell you to "get up quicker" when I have my paddle down purposedly because I know I have a better chance to save the puck.
2) When your teammates are tearing you up with great goals in warm-up's but then they shank and whiff on every shot in the actual game.
3) When a teammate with a great slap shot will only take wrist shots in a actual game.
4) I like to play the puck a lot and I usually make quality passes, but the ONE or so times I do screw up, my teammates have to point out to me to not play the puck anymore.
5) A goalie who will cover the puck and hold it even though there's not an opposing player in sight and will wait until an opposing player gets close so the referee will blow the whistle. Just knock it over to one of your teammates!
6) A goalie who whacks his stick against the post after a goal. I understand kids and teenagers doing it but not adults.
7) Goalies who ride the post so much that there are deep skate tracks against the inner post

Almost forgot.....
1) Referee's on a power trip. That might be the worst.
2) Wives or Parents that say, "Nice save." after the goalie makes an easy save like a dump on net at about 10 miles per hour and 100 feet away.

mainly parents that have never played the game that think they know more about the position than me.
for example, i was watching some game tape once. i had the puck covered, and i hear one of the parents yell "GET UP!!" what the hell game was he watching?

When the puck is going wide and I know it so I let it go by and everyone in the stands goes "OOOOOOHHHHH" like it almost went in or something.
Parents who talk crap about other kids, the parents, cmon now.
When players talk crap about "cheapshots" when they've been dirty all night.
Refs who used to play or ref against you/your team/your coach who hold a grudge.
Tough guys who are only tough when the ref is inbetween them and the other player.
The lack of sportsmanship after some goals are scored.

I also hate figure skating holes in the ice, it's so hard to move.
- Whipping the puck across the ice when I get scored on and being yelled at by the ref and then yelling back
-Getting useless penalties for slashing, can't seem to get rid of them.
But the all time worst is when your d-fence says, not your fault we should have had him, OMG i hate that!
Oh and by the way flipping the puck to the mesh and then to the ref is the coolest thing!

Players that insist on trying to bat pucks out of midair as you're reaching out to catch them... in practices. No, I don't have a bruise on my arm from that, why do you ask?
Players that insist on shooting at your back, because you've got sooo much padding on, how could you get hurt?
Players that insist on doing the quintuple deke moves in practice, because, you know, you get breakaways with no d coming at you all the time in real games. And then they celebrate like they got the Stanley Cup winning goal in OT in game 7. In practice.

Let's see.... I'll give about 3 or so... Some goalie's like picking the puck up with their glove and handing it to the ref I do this (as well as doing the flip onto the back of the netting) Occasionally though my D Man will stand by me and try and steal the puck out of my glove WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?!
When D Men or Forwards try to knock the ouck out of mid-air with their stick and deflect it into the net.
And ohhh.... how about when the players come up and say "You're keeping us in the game" Sure it's nice but please do something about it! I'm doing my part it's your turn!

i've got too many...only a few
1. warmups...i only wanna see one puck flying at me at once!!!! the worst ar ethose duma$$ players who nail me in the back of the shoulder or back of the calfs cus i wasn't facing them at the time they shot!
2. dangerous! shooting when i'm turned around trying to get pucks outa the net!!!! luckily i've only gotten hit inthe back of the thigh..and a slapshot to the bak of the heel (ouch)
3. when the ref doesn't yell LOOSE and no one has a clue where the puck is
4. when my D won't cover the man in front...no matter how much i scream for help
5. when the D goes "its all my fault" and then after the game. they complain about how "off a game" i had
6. those stupid fans from the other teams who bang the glass behind me... (oh well i just flip the bird to them )
7.. maybe this should be up higher...but when those dumb Dmen screen me...and i'm telling them their screening me..and they just move forward!!!... and also after i yell at the Dmen to grab the guy in front...one guy comes and then their BOTH screening me... ugh.

My team in practice tends to shoot pucks at the net from the boards while they're in line waiting to do the drill. While the drill is going on. Annoying and dangerous.

Hmm, lets see here...
Players who play down a league just to make themselves feel better.
Cherry pickers.
Players who tell me how to play net.
Players who cant hit the net anywhere below my head...
...in warmups.
Tri-pods who skate at a high level pickup. Totally slows the skate down.
Players who score in open hockey and act like they just won the Cup.
Players who screen you and then when you "object" act surprised and get pissed. I guess they think they should be allowed to stand there till the cows come home?
I am sure I will think up more later.
