So after losing 115lbs in 10 months, today I will try out for college hockey...

Wish me luck guys! I havent posted for ages... I pretty much just lurk most of the time......

So heres me re-introduction lols....

I used to come here often in highschool / middle school I believe I signed up in 00 or 01, I played all through out amatuers and 4 years of highschool. Always weighing in around 170-180lbs... after school I played a year of college hockey. This was in 05' After that year I had alot of hard ships and ended up putting on more than 110lbs in the mater of a year +.

this is what I looked like about a year ago...

I started a workout plan since december of 06' I started using the oliptical and eventually got to running 4 miles a day by july...... but when I weighed in the most was dec 1st I weighed in at 297lbs. I currently weigh 183... Just by eating right, working out 5 days a week and playing hockey 2-3 days per week I lost 115lbs in almost a year. Here are some current pics of me.....

Today is the day I have been waiting for, for the past year to be able to play organized hockey... playing organized your entire life and then dropping to adult league hockey for a year really isnt fun... along with all the added weight .

After losing the weight I went with a set of stock velocities 34" The thighrise was getting in the way too much. I feel with a shorter thighrise I have better lateral movement and I can mvoe side to side atleast twice as good. Im just really excited for today just wanted to share! I hope to post more.

From the pictures I see...

As a fat kid you attracted young boys and older men...

Got skinny - got hot chick.

Nice work.

Addition by subtraction to say the least.

improvements...

so where do you notice it the most? Joints not as creaky? Energy level much higher? Can see your feet again? I'm just entering what I hope to be the same "downward spiral" for my weight (but I won't be doing the "Heroin Diet"), so I ask from curiosity for what to expect.

well the biggest thing is getting up for the rebound... I never ever did that while I was overweight. Kind of just sat there in a butterfly like a beached wale.

getting up, getting down, side to side , butterfly slide and ENDURANCE!

Congratulations! This is big news and I thank you for sharing because I did the same thing (minus the college hockey part). I lost 100 pounds during my sophomore year in college, and it all started with a goal of losing 15 pounds. Keep doing what you're doing and eat a burger. You're a stick!
