2007-08 Stanley Cup Finals: Red Wings vs. Penguins

Might as well get this started...

Hopefully this will be a really good series. Seems almost like an all-star game! I haven't been too impressed with the playoffs this year. There have been good games here and there but I personally haven't watched a series that I thought was really compelling so far.

I don't care who does it, but I wish one of the two remaining teams could do the impossible just for this thread.

Well, Dallas won last night so that series is going to be dragged out a game longer. I am a Stars fan, but I was hoping that they would lose last night just to get it over with. Hopefully the Penguins can put it away in 4.

You're right. Crosby will get top billing.

It'll be "Sydney Crosby and the Penguins vs. Red Wings"

And anyways, this is a tad premature. Both teams still have to win 1 game. It's unlikely that they won't do it, but just saying...

To me, watching Detroit is pretty boring, as they are that puck possesion team that never makes mistake. No mistake = no good opportunities, just crash the net & score. So based on that, I see the Red Wings in 5, & Either Mule or Ozzy as Conn Smythe winner

Thumbs down

Blaphameus (sp?) title.......you sir, are going straight to hell.

It should say Philadelphia vs. Dallas.

If Timmonen and Coburn both suit up, it's a new series. Pitts will probably still take it, but they'll have been through a war, at least.

I wouldn't be so delusional...

Pitt had a bad game in game four. Yes, Timonen's a big boost, but I'd take it one game a time as a fan.

Delusional is just how I roll.

I am not realistically expecting Philly to roar back, but if there is a team that could do it.........especially if they get their top two D back. I do emphasize IF.

Has any one seen the latest Hockey New with Sidney and "Geni" on the cover? Read the comic in the back, and eveerything will become clear.

Crosby probably looks better in a dress, though.

But like I said, a bit premature. As fun as it is too talk trash and all, you never count a team out until they're out.

It would be the most epic playoffs ever if that happened! 2 series in one year.

Game 7, double overtime, Malkin from Crosby for the winner.
