NHL 09- the game

It would be a cool option if you could wire the goalies with microphones, to hear their comments, communication with players and trash talk!

I hope in 09 they reduce the amount of stupid goals that shouldn't have gone in...like sometimes goals are just rigged its gay

Too difficult... You would need a thumbstick for head swivel, then one for goalie movement, and now youre fresh out of thumbsticks. You need one for the save selection too.

use controls like a FPS. Right thumb us head, left is body. click one stick to drop into a butterfly, then the thumbs change to arm controls. when standing, press left + x to pad stack, etc.

That would take some work, almost worth making it's own game for it!

Next years games will have terrible names it they keep the same naming system. You will have Nhl 10, and NHL 2K10, neither sound right.

I was reading through some forums and the word is Thursday 8/21 at 4pm EST, the NHL 09 demo will be on the 360 Marketplace for download.

NHL 2010 doesn't sound too bad. 2K10 sounds ok too. I know what you mean though.

Any on here order directly from EA last year? I'm thinking of just ordering through them, but I want to make sure they ship it to be received on launch day. I don't want to have to wait a few days to get it and frankly the last few times I pre-ordered it I ended up waiting a day anyways because of shipment delays.

I did that the last two years and both years my area had issues with receiving shipments on time. Best Buy, Game Stop, etc. all had delays. The ones who got them in on release day even got them late.

last I checked efstratios1 was one of, if not, the best on here.
