That sounds like a cool idea... they have to change it up after the same kind of gameplay each year... they changed the controls but not much else

The feel of the game was totally different from 07 to 08, the only thing that really stayed the same was the controls. Every year the NHL franchise only gets better, I expect nothing else than an upgrade from 08. 'Be a Pro' will definitely be a fun aspect of the game.

I am SO happy about the be a pro thing...I've been saying they should do that even before they came out with "The Show" MLB game.

I really hope they redid the checking and goalies. But I'm not holding my breath for either. And maybe if they fixed the whole hitting the post on every shot thing...

EA does the post thing on soccer too. But it's prevalent in hockey. Take a slapshot at an empty net and its almost guaranteed to hit iron.

I have no problem with the goalies, just hope they fix the raycroft glitch (shoot gloveside high while skating across the net)

Way too easy to score that way.
