What Do You Guys Think Of Having Two Gloves?

Just wondering what your opinions are on having 2 sets of gloves? Different companies or not.

There's no reason to have more than one set of any piece of equipment.

I don't see anything wrong with it. I wouldn't mind using a second set while the others are drying out. Sadly, I can't afford it.

I'd see it as some sort of an advantage if you have 2 games in 2 days (or 1) & you hate wearing wet gloves.

Also, if you go on a losing streak, you can blame the gloves & stop using them!

Glove sets

You can have 5 sets of gloves if that's what you want. Knock yourself out.

When I was playing 5 nights a week, I had 2 pair of pads, 2 sets of gloves and blockers.... every other night I used the different set, letting the others dry out by them selves.... my mask. C/A and Pants I had under a fan.... to make sure they were dry the next night.... On days that I played 2 games in 1 day or a tourney weekend, having more than 1 set of gloves if nothing else was a blessing ! The pads as well as the next set was dry and wasnt watered down and weigh more.

It's up to you though, if your not playing at least 4 nights a week then 1 pair is fine.

I had 2 pair of gloves for my son though due to tourney weekends... 2 games in 1 day... or sometimes 3 was good for him as well.

im 15 years old so its not like I have TONS of money to spend but to answer to cujo I play 6 times a week and am attending a prospects camp this year so I play high level hockey. I have just bought a set of rx9 gloves and was considering buying a slightly used set off ebay as a backup.
