Question

chicago might be a team to watch in the next couple of years...

wonder how much "senior advisor" pays.

Maybe he likes the challenge of taking a team from rebuild to success and maybe his work in Detroit is through. Also he might get a mega bonus for success in Chicago.

Yea, surprising move. No doubt Scotty will be a nice asset, and the best "senior adviser" in the league...but why?

One obvious factor is that Scotty wants to join his son, Stan, who is an Assistant GM within the hockey operations department of the Hawks.

Good for Scotty. If I'm not mistaken, isn't his son sick? He wants to be with him while he can.

This is also good for hockey. A mind like Bowman's will only improve an already developing franchise.

He'll be missed, but it will work out good for alot of reasons.
