Foreclosures, job loss, earnings down, etc: the market has been acting as if we are at the start of a recession. Thanks to George and his boys we have pissed away a surplus, piled up a huge debt, started a war that has no end in sight but it seems to some Republicans that sending 1.4 billion to Mexico is a good idea because

Can people stop stating that all the foreclosures are due to a recession.

The reason all these foreclosures are happening is because people are idiots and picked up interest only mortgages, bought to much house or had Variable rates...

Your financial wisdom is amazing. How stupid of me to not know that every foreclosure is due to stupid people. Interest rates are within 3/4% of the average 30 year mortgage rate 2 years ago. Most people have fixed mortgages not interest only. According to one report interest only accounts for less than 1% of all mortgages on single family homes. The foreclosures are happening for many reasons but being stupid is only part of it. I bet its Clinton's fault

or those damn Democrats in Congress. Could it be that maybe just maybe you see how the Bush plan worked. Favor the extremely wealthy and piss on everyone else.

It's Clinton's fault is the battle cry of the Republican party. I use that because you guys are so predictable in using that as the reason for any problem King George has created. While I feel no guilt over the white man coming to this continent, I suppose you also deny the Holocaust because it is estimated that between 15-30 million native americans inhabited this nation before the white man came from Europe.

Today I believe there are around 3 million.

As I said...I have no guilt about it, and my father makes a great bird for Turkey day, but we shouldn't ignore what happened, or worse...be dismissive of it.
