question for mac+hotmail users

i'd say probably 9 times out of 10, when i try to open my hotmail, it doesn't work!

if i restart my computer, it works no problem. it will work for a little while longer after that, i'm not really sure HOW long. and then i guess every so often after that it sort of randomly works.

its getting annoying to have to restart my computer or use my cell phone to check my email when i NEED to check it. has anyone else who has a mac had this problem? does anyone know of a way to fix it?

I don't use my Hotmail very much (I prefer Shaw's webmail), but I've never had a problem with it on any of my Macs at home or at work. What browser are you using? I usually use Safari 3, in leopard (10.5.2), on an aluminum iMac.

I'm no Mac expert (I'm a PC user myself), but just off the top of my head, it sounds somewhat like a browser cache / cookies type of problem. The fact that it will work after you reboot the puter, when you're "starting fresh", is what makes me think along those lines.

Have you tried deleting temporary internet files and cookies from your browser, rather than doing a complete reboot, to see if that makes a difference?

Just use Firefox instead of Safari.
