Guitar Hero Aerosmith (III.5)

To promote "GH: Aerosmith", the band's first single, 1973's "Dream On", will be available for "GH III " players to download for free via Xbox Live and PlayStation Network. Some day, the band could release new music through the game, Perry says: "It would make sense."

FYI... (game is supposed to release this summer)

Uhm,, so theyre making a Guitar hero just for Aerosmith? Wow, talk about a horrible idea. 80% of GH players werent even alive the last time Aerosmith put out a decent song.

its just a imbo disk but listening to people who have seen it talk say its MUCH more then just an Aerosmith disk

It will have Aerosmith songs, as well as bands that were inspired or influenced by aerosmith

They have also recreated Aerosmiths highschool auditorium in boston for one of the locations to play from ...

Aerosmith has sold more then 150 million albums world wide and has more platnum singles then any other US band in history ....

(Plus I beat all my GH games I need more songs )

IMO, I think they should have chose a different band. Metallica or AC/DC would have been 100X better.

Whoever gets the ball rolling on a Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana Rock Band will be a billionaire overnight.

(sad what the music industry has evolved into lately... but hey... a billion dollars is a billion dollars! )

News is that there is going to be four new Guitar Hero games coming out over the course of the next year and this is only one of them. The one I will not be playing.

all metallica would be hard considering some of the solos in there songs, and aerosmith has more variety in there music old and new.

Guitar Hero should just release a lot of DLC like there is for Rock Band. What's the point of even having the ability to download new tracks if they are just going to make people buy a whole new disc every time they want to release a substantial number of songs? Rock Band only came with 58 songs but I'm already up to 106 including all of the DLC I have bought, and I don't even have them all. And at least I had a choice of what songs I wanted to pay for and play.

It thankfully wont be ALL Aerosmith. It's either one tier, or one smith song per tier.

I hope it's priced at expansion ($49.99) not retail though.

Aerosmith is the 1 selling US band of all time... Much larger and wider listener base then AC/DC or Metallica
