Anybody going to the Blackhawks Convention

Just wondering if any of you Illinois or Chicago locals on here were going to that on July 18th . If so would you like to meet up there and get some grub or something. I'm going to be doing a huge oil painting of Tony Esposito ( I do photo realism) to get signed.

I'm also going March 19th to Tony Esposito night at the Hawks game.

Andy

I guess there selling out even the standing room only seats at the UC so I bet this convention sells out quick. There only 6 points out of the playoffs so who knows....could be a good season after all.

Id rather have them trade Khabi and Havalat if they can before the trade deadline..Then re-group for next year.

It's sooooo nice not to see management looking who to sell their talented young prospects before the deadline. Now, if they'd lode the no broadcasting home games policy...oh well "Ding Dong, Wirtz is Dead" one thing at a time...hope the keep Savard for at least another season just to be fair.

No home game policy is gone. This year they got in as many games as they had tv time available and could find advertising sponsors, which ended up being 11 or 12 home games. Next year expect a more robust home game tv schedule

Wirtz was kind of like a professional kidney stone, and now that he's passed, the pain is over and everyone can get back to playing, managing, and selling hockey in Chicago...sadly I now live in San Diego and cannot really benefit (unless on VS) by the new home game policy...but it is 75 degrees outside today, and I haven't had to drive to work in the snow since 1983, so everything balances out I guess.
