So I gave my Apt their notice, and told a few friends... One of whom was a DJ at a different station ... well she comes back to me about 3 weeks later and tells me, that the station is planning on firing me, and that they have already hired my replacement ....

I dont really care I'd checked out long before this happend, but this was one of those rare oppertunities to get even with somebody that was gonna try and screw you......

So that afternoon (3-7 Shift), I start promoting the huge anouncement that I have at 5:30.... Biggest news that the city has had in years yada yada yada... the phones are blowing up people want to know whats happening, there is speculation that there is a big concert coming, a huge contest... nobody knows what it is ....

With out getting too technical, my ratings were very big at this time.....

So finely 5:30 comes, and I explain that my blood sucking evil boss has decided to fire me... but whats worse.... He has already hired my replacement, and he hasent told me yet....

I explain to my listeners, that we are both owed an explination.......

So I call him... Live ... On the air... (and give his phone number out by mistake ..Opps )

Lets just say that he was NOT happy, apparently there was pickiting of the station, and my boss ended up getting fired for the bad press haha .....
Now THAT is awesome.

We all know you're the guy with the bow tie and you were really canned for some stunt with turkeys.

The real way to fire a person is to bring in the 2 Bobs.

That reminds me. Our Fridays burned down last week.

Chandler Fire Dept.: Restaurant fire serves as important lesson - Phoenix Arizona news, breaking news, local news, weather radar, traffic from ABC15 News | ABC15.com

Now we have to go to Gilly's

One of the girls I coach was in there eating. She didn't have to pay after being escorted out.

So, here is one...

This guy I used to work with, allegedly...allegedly...emailed a picture of his wang from his cellphone camera to a female co-worker...yada, yada and a few weeks later and a bunch of HR investigations, this guy gets a job elsewhere and the upper bosses got wind and sent his arse packing. 2 week notice turned in, 3 hours later they just tell him to go home!

Now the big joke all revolves around anything that is done be sure there are no pictures of your wang taken at any time. All cellphones, cameras etc...must be left OUTSIDE the restroom!

I wonder why you don't see anyone calling for help or any security guards showing up to take him away? Maybe it was staged after all. Most of the office looked like spectators. After he threw the monitor you can see some people still doing their office work, gathering papers and having conversations. How come only one guy tried to stop him?Why didn't anyone else come to his aid? Why didn't anyone try to escape so they wouldn't get hurt?

I worked in a factory (car parts - what else?), with my hopefully - soon-to-be ex-husband. His friend was 3rd shift supervisor. He was caught IN THE MIDDLE OF IT - drunk, coked up, with 2 women (who did not work there) in the front office when the owner came in the next AM.

Almost as memorable as the guy who got fired for endangering the rest of us (where I work now - different factory). The woman he lived with teamed up with the woman he was cheating with, walked in and tried to beat the crap out of him. When they were thrown out of the building, they took it out on his car. Between the baseball bat and the weapons, it was an exciting day. They fired him but he wouldn't go outside til the cops drove off with the women. Hell hath no fury.

When I worked for a very large financial company one of the up and comers went to our big awards banquet. His wife had way too much to drink and started doing a strip tease type of dance on the table where all the big wigs were seated. At first it was a little funny and uncomfortable at the same time but then it was getting close to being a real strip show and a friend pulled her off the table. Husband was too far away to stop it and by the time he got there damage was done. Needless to say his career sorta of ended there. A few more minutes and it would have been a topless dance.

A friend of mine was going to be fired from a golf course, so the last night with keys, he invited a bunch of his friends over and they had golf cart races and played "chicken" with them.

In the old days, that would have fast-tracked him.
