No love for Chi-Town in 2011?

Kane, Toews, Sharp, Jason Williams (maybe), Byfuglien (even though I'm not his biggest fan), Crawford between the pipes by that time, Keith and Seabrook on the points...I like their chances. Hell, I like their chances at a playoff run next year!

I see a Blues-Blackhawks Western Conference Final that year (Blues in six). How cool will that be? Just like the glory days of the old Chuck Norris division!

The young guns of My Beloved Blue Note (Johnson, Oshie, Ellers, Berglund, et al) should have just about enough seasoning by then and be ready for a Cup run. The only question mark is (as is always the case with the Blues) goalie...will Ben Bishop be ready for the Big Time by then?

Talk to me in 2011, Swede, and we'll see who is the idiot!

Nah. Butte vs. Paducah. Bettman's going to expand some more.

stl tl, who do you see us taking in the draft this year? Talk has been taking one of the big 3 defenceman, but in our system we have so much depth at D with Steve Wagner, Ian Cole, Jonas Junland (who there is talk that he will really challange for a spot this year), Roman Polak, and Cade Fairchild, not to mention the roster D we already have on contract. Do you see us taking chance on a player like Nikita Filatov or Kyle Beech?

How would you feel about this, Mckee for Maxim Afinogenov. They would like Max out of Buffalo and to have a fresh start. The sabers are in need of a top paired defenceman and a depth D man. We are in need of more offence.

While there is a chance the Blues will be on the way to the top by then, there's much less chance the Penguins will hold together that long. They likely have this season and next before that team blows up.

The Question is, what City will those Blues be playing out of in 2011? Waterloo, Ont?

Ice dog, I see the Blues going for one of the top 3 d-men. I think JD wants to take the best player available regardless of needs right now. Plus, the added depth at D gives them more trade material which they can hopefully parlay into some more offensive pop. As for Mckee for Afinogenov, that would propbably go a long way to filling the Blues offensive needs. Even though Afinogenov had a down year last year a change of scenery might do him good. My God, that much speed in a Blue Note would be nice! And McKee probably wouldn't mind going back to Buffalo given his history there.

Oh please. You know if Bettman's involved it'll be more like Shreveport and El Paso!

Maybe think a little harder before you post rebuttals that don't actually say anything.
