I think if I had the money I'd collect rock posters. I bought three posters last year from wolfgangsvault.com and got them framed. You can click on them to read more. The first two are originals, the third is a reprint. The artwork on these old posters is amazing.

I got five Corb Lund posters I picked up for a dollar each when I saw him in Saskatoon. I'll probably frame a couple of those too eventually.

Besides an accumulation of random trivialities which at one point or another piqued my interest, my only truly focused collection would be cigars. Although I do have more belts than anyone really needs.

I converted a large chest, varnished on the inside, with weatherstripping around the edges. The cigars are stored in cedar boxes for aroma, and with active humidification the cabinet has kept at a perfect 65% for the last two years.

Only on special occasions, or when I just feel like smoking something special. These photos were taken a few months ago and the stock has changed very little, save perhaps ten cigars.

For my everyday consumption, I'll usually have an Avo, Fuente Hemmingway, or Camacho at the shop. The cigars in the humidor are undergoing maturation, a little discipline will yield some outstanding smokes in a few years.

Well, have fun.

Update on my money collection. I have added a few hundred US Dollars. In the past few days alone I have done well retaining some of my collection by simply swearing off ebay.
