Dodgers: Hits Are Overated

The Dodgers beat the Angels 1-0 without recording an official hit. Jered Weaver(6) and Jose Arredondo(2) combined to pitch 8 innings of no-hit ball (not an official no-hitter). In the 5th, Matt Kemp(LAD) reached 1st on an error, stole 2nd and advanced to 3rd on an errant throw, then scored on a sac fly. Getting shutout when your pitching is getting rocked is one thing, but getting shutout when your pitchers are throwing no-hit ball... How 'bout a little run support?

Um.... last time I checked, Zito was throwing beach balls for the Giants. At least, they looked like beach balls when he was pitching against the Tigers.

They irony of the Angels losing a game on a manufactured run is just too sweet.
