A little late to the party here, but what the hell. Where is Segar exactly? Having lived in Wyoming my entire life, I've got a pretty exhaustive knowledge of every little town in the state, but that one has me stumped.
EDIT: Is it around Casper?

Welcome to the mitten*!
Hope you enjoy your stay! Any sightseeing plans, or just hanging out in BH?
*(for those who are unaware, Michigan's Lower Peninsula is shaped roughly like a mitten -- hold your right hand in front of you, palm facing you, and goalerjones is currently somewhere in the fleshy part at the base of your thumb)

Actually it's along the route you'd take to Mt Rushmore from Casper, since we came from there and spent the night at the hotel then the next day we came to Casper (and that's where we got my wife's boots-@ the Lou Tauberts) on our way back to So Cal...

we settled in for the day today (my internal clock is soooo jacked up right now-I'd barely gotten back on track from my last outing-now I'm 3 hours ahead!), but we're planning on doing the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village...other than that one of the uncles is talking about a concert if anything good's in town (and Niel Diamond doesn't count IMO), and maybe catching a Tiger's game

It's been over 30 years since I've been to GFV. Been meaning to take Dom over there, but the summers just don't seem to be long enough to fit everything in. (We are managing to squeeze in a trip to Michigan's Adventure next week, at least.)
Have fun!

sorry for the delays, but I'm working on getting all of the pics back from my trip to Michigan ( I wound up taking over 350 pics), followed by a "best of" photo entry...I will say that I almost made it to Canada as I could see it (Windsor) across the Detroit River, but that's more for the photo posting...

Michigan pics...
I spent 13 days in Michigan, working, with the family that employs me. We split our time between Bloomfield Hills and Oxford. I took a trip down to Detroit the day before we left and got some pics and a bit of history. The saddest thing I saw on the trip was a boarded up public library. And the funniest thing was the Mayor being taken to jail...(seems no one is immune from stupid behavior). We also went to Greenfield Village (a place where Henry Ford actually brought many old buildings of historical importance like Ford Motors, Edison's labs and Lincoln's courthouse), and then to the Henry Ford museum (I unfortunately screwed up many of the pics of the museum by shooting them at the wrong asa setting )
Pics: HockeyTown, Barry "The Last Dragon" Gordy's house, Tiger Stadium, Windsor from across the Detroit River, The Joe

More pics of Michigan...
Filesize wouldn't allow for all my pics, so here are a couple more:
Motown, and the Jail where Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick was sent ( related link: Judge sends Detroit mayor to jail - On Deadline - USATODAY.com )
