I would also cross Baltimore off the list as well, they just drafted flaco, and as we all know from the rogers situation, favre will not be a man about helping out the younger players. Not to mention I think flaco would immediatly demand a trade (if he has already signed) because once the golden boy favre takes reigns, who knows how long he would hold them hostage like he has to the packers.

Tampa, now that would be a possibilty, but i think he wants to stay in the same division as the packers....Detroit maybe?
Obie,

I would think washington would be a pretty good fit and knowing Daniel Snyder hes gonna pay and do to get what he wants. But im pretty sure under Jim Zorn who worked under Mike Homgren would have the same offensive set up which favre thrived in. Minnisota is looking like the best possible fit because of the Running back in Adrian Peterson also that great O-line and pretty good D. BUt im hoping for DC tho

Vick won't be anywhere near the NFL in 09. If Vegas has a line on that, I'd take it. He is too big of PR disaster. Not to mention he won't be in football shape. Plus, no would want to give him a deal longer than a year and it will take him longer than a year to get in NFL shape. He is AFL bound.

Right now, Baltimore has to the front runner for Favre. The trend now is to let young QB's sit, so don't worry about Flacco. To say he would want out is just dumb And Boller is awful. Chi-Town could be a darkhorse, but as of right now they have no RB. And its hard to compete without one of those. Maybe if they brought in Alexander...

As for Bret Favre.... why not in Chicago? Favre is the best QB of all time in the cold, plus, we saw that the Bears just need stability and consistence at the QB position.
As someone said he most likely wont come back as a QB. What made vick so great is what a great athlete he is and how he can elude tackles and move so quick and smooth. I see him as a RB and or WR his QB days are pretty much over.

I heard Favre was traded to the Coyotes He is going to play center because we don't score enough goals.

Actually, I think the Bears should work out a deal. He would be the missing piece in that puzzle.

I would have said that prior to the super bowl year. But not now. The bears have no running game, and no receivers. And their d is not what it was 2 years ago. They are a team that is very far off. Not sure that he wants to go to a team that is the packers worst enemies, that is not the kind of attention an inexperienced head coach like lovie smith would want. that locker room would be a circus.

Whatever team he goes to will blow up any previous chemistry. So he needs to just sit back, and do commercials for wrangler. I seriously can not take another year with every professional announcer voicing their man love for this guy regardless of it being a preseason game between the jets and bills or the middle of the super bowl. ENOUGH ALREADY JUST GO AWAY. PLEASE I AM BEGGING!

I don't watch football. See it once in awhile while flipping through the channels but it does seem to me that he is good for football. Here it is in the off season and look at the headlines he is making. This has to be a football fans dream. Off season and you get to talk about football. Hell with hockey the big deal is a Russian left Nashville to go back to Russia, woo hoo.

I grew up in Chicago that was the only reason I mentioned the Bears plus it would be a good fit since Jim Edmunds left the hated Cardinals to come over to the Cubs. Packers are hated in Chicago but Favre is pretty well loved, especially if he came over.

When Vick gets out, Virginia is pressing charges. They don't want to pay fees to transfer him back and forth at this time and waste tax payers money. He may not be done with prison yet.

Favre quarterbacking the Phoenix powerplay. Thank God I wasn't drinking anything lest it end up on the keyboard!

Well he is already with the Raiders until at least until at least 2009. They may get to keep his rights pending his Virginia trial.

Not 30 minutes after I posted on another board that it is entirely in Green Bays right to sit Favre all year if he comes back, guess what!

ESPN - Packers GM, coach say team won't release Favre despite request - NFL

Because he's already banked over $100 million easy. And if he knows anything about investing, I'm sure he's taken care of himself.

I heard that he is only worth 98 million and he is very concerned about the increased cost of gas. He figures if he comes back he can afford a small SUV instead of the SMART car

I think you're right on the Oakland thing. Since they're the 'bad guy wrestler' of the NFL, they seem like the most likely candidate to be willing to deal with the bad press attached to Vick.
