An interesting choice. I am surprised that she has a son in the Army, an enlisted son! His life just became much more complicated, the guys in his Unit are going to be pissed!

Yup, we don't really die... we just rust. The very thing we need to keep us alive also slowly kills us.

Minimal to no bounce from the DNCC for Obama/Biden, statistically dead heat in the polls, so McCain knows he's "toast" and throws up a Hail Mary? C'mon.

"Abraham Lincoln's schooling -- a few months when he was ten and another month or two when he was fourteen -- was no better and no worse than the schooling of most backwoods boys in Indiana in that period. The schools he attended -- Andrew Crawford's and then Azel Dorsey's and William Sweeney's -- were 'blab schools,' where the children studied aloud. Abe learned 'manners,' simple arithmetic, and how to read and write, from Pike's Arithmetic and Dilworth's Spelling Book, and by studying and memorizing the speeches of famous men he mastered a kind of oratory. Most of his learning, however, he got for himself from books and newspapers borrowed from neighbors, like Josiah Crawford, who lent him Weem's Life of Washington, and Judge John Pitcher, a graduate of Yale College who lived in Rockport sixteen miles away. Lincoln also walked to Boonville to listen to the courtroom oratory of John A. Brackenridge, the Warrick County prosecuting attorney.
But periods free for formal schooling and time for reading were rare, because Abe, like other boys, had to work for his father, and when his skill with an ax and a hoe were not needed at home, he hired out to other farmers who could afford to employ labor outside their own families."

That's correct - but look what a capable person can accomplish who didn't have a proper education. I have seen plenty of people who did well in school not achieve much in life. Palin's education should not be a sole reason to convince others that she isn't fit for the job.
BTW, your photo was very funny!

What would it matter if he was a muslim? What happened to separation of church and state? I don't give a **** what invisible person in the sky people believe in, obama obviously has a good enough head on his shoulders to have gotten himself where he is.
|
The reason that his religion needs to be "refuted" or clarified is because for the last 8 years the Bush administration has vilified the muslim world and thus has created an instant predjudice in the minds of some.

Will you retract your freaking attitude?
Next you'll claim he isn't black either...

Neither is Michael Jackson.....
The MainStream Media has not claimed, implied, or stated that Obama is Muslim.

No one said that it should be the 'sole' reason.
But it certainly is a consideration.

You're 12. The odds of you having seen plenty of anything is slim to none. Come back after you've actually had a real job. If you want I know a company that could use a janitor, no education required.
