Shemp has seemed a little bitter lately. This explains it all.

I posted once, but figured I'd make my big list out of nothing better to do. Pretty sure it's complete and correct. If not, correct me:

Bought from:
icequeen - Brown 553
vanniek - Itech 951
wings36 - Itech 960
oakleyman - Koho 590 C/A
donk - Velocity pants
OldGoalie915 - SK2000

Sold to:
OldGoalie#30 - Vaughn knee pads
Not sure of his BB name, but someone saw my add for my 960, transaction was completed via e-mail

Trade:
Mx42 - swapped my Brown 553 for his Velo C/A

All very good transactions.

Another good guy on this BB....

Just wanted to add my $0.02 to this thread and commend Rayovac.

While I didn't buy his pads (which is too bad because they looked sharp), he was a great communicator and was very willing to help and give me advice on what pads would be best for me.

I'm sure the person who bought his UL's will be very satisfied.

Thanks, Ray. Appreciate your help.

Best Regards,
Don

There is one issue not mentioned in this thread that I thought might add some value to future buyers/sellers.

How do most of you handle payments? Cash, checks, money orders, PayPal, or something else?

Ive done orders with cash, check, and paypal. Paypal was the easiest for people that are not very close together. But 2 of the board members I made transactions with lived in very close proximity so it was nice to meet up and exchange face to face.

Dustyrocket was very great to deal with.

I had some problems getting the product I had for sale to him and offered to drop the pending transaction but he waited until I could get the product.

Howdy All,

I have a lurker in my area who is just waiting for registration to open back up. In the mean time, he has asked me to post this for him in regards to his transaction with Rayovac.

Hello

This is a post about my purchase of a pair of ******* ultralights 36" from Rayovac. He (Rayovac) was very honest, he found a small scratch on the pads that could not be seen in the original pics. And thus sent me new pics and dropped $10 of the pads. Rayovac shipped the pads via greyhound and they arrrived without too much drama. I was very impressed in dealing with Rayovac as he is very trustworthy and businesslike. As for the pads they perform EXACTLY like the pair of velos that I tryed out. I will get a review on my new gear soon. Gear= new eddy Kustom, ultralights, cm9 c/a, cm9 glove and blocker, and riedell skates with new graf tuuk cowlings/blades put on.

I bought a pair of Matrix pants from betweenthepipes. The pads were advertised as being used for one hour, but you know what that usually means, used for a few games. The pants arrived very quickly, and they looked absolutely brand new.
