Whoaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Hang on there a second. While I admire your "positive mental imagery" and the effects it has had on your game, we need to be honest with each other both as colleagues and friends. I have seen you naked, unless my mom is the size of a gerbil, you aren't going to be able to stretch anything out.

So what's the deal tonight? Do we just show up and walk in that classroom by the pro shop? Anywhere to dump our gear, or just leave it in the car until ice-time? (newb)

There is room in the hallway just outside the pro shop. You can also leave it in your car if you want, we will have a half hour to get dressed after the presentation.

Please be on time...

Hey Gang,

Just a reminder, we want to start the presentation as clsoe to 6:30 pm as possible - there is a lot to cover.

For the newb's - unless you have been to this arena before, give yourself some time b/c it can be hard to find. To the untrained eye it looks as if it is under a Chinese Food restaurant...

Cheers,

Wellsie

Week #1 In The Books...

Hey All,

Phew.... tonight just flew by in a damned hurry!

Thanks to everyone for being on time and so attentive. As always, I welcome any and all feedback...

I just downloaded the video & pic's and man, do we have a lot to discuss next week! There were a lot of good things happening and some - shall we say - sub-optimal tendencies...

This week is March break and I am booked solid, but I will endeavour to upload the Powerpoint presentation when I get a chance. If you have the time - and inclination - I would suggest reviewing it in the context of what we did on the ice tonight.

I hope everyone got home OK and we will be back in the classroom at 6:30 pm next week.

Regards,

Wellsie & Crew.

Thanks for reminding me I'm over 40. Another great clinic. Can't wait for next week hopefully I've recovered by then.

Whatever happened to the stance and rope pics from the 'vets' clinic you ran last april? Ive only ever seen the rookies and candid vet pics from it.

I think they were sucked up into computer Neverland... I have 4 computers on the go at home and I think they may be in one of the hard drives or Photobucket, I will look when I get a chance next week... no promises I will find them...

After looking at those pics i'm a little worried about the video. I never thought my stance was even close to that wide :S...

Awesome clinic though! Me and Ian? owned at that shootout! And i know JR is pretty jealous that he didn't get to snipe on me or at least try.

Great clinic as always!

Definitely needed those drills to work on getting rid of my bad habits.

I like the new format with each group staying with one instructor. Really lets the instructor get a better understanding of the individual goalies. Seemed more efficient too instead of rotating stations. The demo just before each drill helps too to keep it fresh in our minds.

Nice job Wellsie! And the crew of Performance goaltending!

See you boys next week!

Hey all,

Sounds like everyone had fun. Sucks that I can't take part in these sessions!

The classroom stuff sounds like another great Performance Goaltending innovation. Way to go coach. I will be looking for your post with the the Powerpoint presentation.

Sure hope I get the chance to attend this summer.

Have fun boys!

Show 'em how its done Steever!
