Thursday Evening - High Performance Training - 1 Place Open

I'm conducting private lessons Thursday afternoons at Doublerinks / Vaughn Iceplex arena [Jane & Hwy 7] and would like 1 other goalie to help split costs with my client.

My client is a 1993 AAA goalie and we require a someone who is proficient at the basics of skating and wants to learn more advanced concepts and skills. The session will be physically challenging since I push my goalies hard at this level. Ideally you will be a Jr. A, 1992, 1993 or 1994 AAA or AA (aspiring to triple A) goalie.

Start time is officially 4:15 pm however we are usually able to get on the ice at 4 pm since prior ice bookings at that time are rare. We exit the ice at 5:05 pm. Max ratio will be 2:1. Cost is $80 per session. Priority will be given to any goalie willing to commit to several lessons in advance.

Has any one asked you to set something up on a smaller scale for us old guys? There were 3 or 4 of us interested in continuing on. I currently get to practice what I learned once or twice per week and though the slide is still slow in coming I slowly getting the hang of it and not much is getting by that shouldn't go in but I'm stopping all the ones I should and a few more I likely had no right to. Evening are better and weekends are ok if you here from some of the other guys I'm in.

I would certainly be interested in doing this and at this time of year weekend ice should not be a problem to book. Depending on the ice costs (weekend rates) and the number of people interested (I would cap it at 4 goalies) the fee would be similar, around $80...

I will send out a blast e-mail and see if there is any interest and go from there...
