Idiot.

Back on topic...
I just watched the video for the first time as more of an entertainment viewing, just for outlining what I want to work on first and what I could successfully incorporate to my current style and training. One thing that stood out for me is... I would like to see the steps written in words on the screen. Also, a review screen with step by steps written on the screen, in order to pause the screen and write down some notes on a pad to carry to the rink. Overall it was a very informative video which has provided me many ways to attempt to break out of my current plateau.

On another note, shipping was quick, 6 days to Sydney.

Got mine yesterday and watched it right away!

Now, my perspective is that of an aspiring goalie who is still just learning to skate and building up enough core and leg strength to even start taking goalie lessons. I started skating in December, taking power skating lessons, and I feel like I'm on track to be taking goalie lessons by December or January, and hopefully between the pipes for the Spring or Summer novice league season next year.

So for me, right now, this video serves the purpose of planting the seeds. Gives me something to chew on, a horizon to focus on as I move forward. The logical approach of the system also gives me a framework in which to think about tending goal, as right now it's still sort of an abstract thing for me. And I've got plenty of time to watch this a few times and really get to understand it (some of it flew past me the first time around), and maybe play around with some of it to get a feel for what I'll need to do when it's time to apply it all on the ice.

I'm really excited because it's another step in making my dream more concrete and do-able in my mind (and therefore in reality). So, thanks for putting this together, Zach!

(And PS, the production value really is much better than I would have expected. Really nicely done in that respect as well.)

I got the DVD today and I thought it was put together very well. I have been playing for alot of years and I like how this DVD gets right to what I need to see and hear.

It might be a bit much for a beginner goalie but for someone that has played before it is excellent.

Great job and looking forward to the next Video installment

9/10 highly recommend

I'm ordering it now. But why the tax? It's the internet, you don't have to tax unless you have a physical (brick and mortar) location in the state of the buyer - and even that doesn't apply to most states. Unless of course Michigan is a "tax-all" internet state (which I think is BS, but that is for another discussion entirely).

Purchased, will let ya know my thoughts - looks good from the demo.

So I watched my DVD. I liked it, but I feel as if it was one long PROMO. video. I would have liked to see different angles, like on the BF slide. And each technique broken down that way.

That being said I like the system overall!! I took some ideas and already used them in my game. Post integration with the pad, mostly I was haveing problems hitting my skate on the post and giving up short sided goals. Also I like useing the narrow BF while blocking, I was so focused on useing a BF which was as wide as I could go, but it was limiting my shuffles.

As far as I'm concerned anything that helps me to make a save is worth it!!

I don't know whats on Tap for Vol. 2--but I think some good 2-on-1's, break-a-ways and so on would be good. Maybe how you use poke checks in youe game.

Thanks for the insight!! We'll be further breaking down breakaways and line rushes from the shooters perspective in the second DVD. I'm also excited to share my newly developed Visual Lead Position System plus much more!!! I'll be sure to keep everyone posted.

I'm not 100% percent aware of Future Pro's complete system. I'm confident that we both teach a similar system with minor differences. My system will compliment what they teach and vice versa. I know that Steve McKichan has a great depth in goaltending knowledge and has trained some of the best goalies in the world so it would be an honor to be compared to him and his school.
