Welcome to the new Vortek Forum!
This is a first for GSBB, so let's lay out some of the ideas of what is to be discussed here:
- Vortek Gear - Good and bad
- User experiences with the Gear
Simple enough, right? Basically - anything Vortek can be discussed here!
As for what we don't want to see.... - No bashing other manufacturers - let's keep it Vortek related
- If you want to draw comparisons to other gear, that's fine, but keep it civil
- Other manufacturers are not to advertise and taunt their gear
The rules of the board do apply here, so don't think it's free reign. If it's something you couldn't post in the other forums, you can't post it here. Vision and I will be moderating here only, along with assists from the esteemed adavis and Motogoalie, so you know that the rules will be enforced same as always.
Post away, and thanks to both Paul for providing this forum, and Vortek for sponsoring this forum!

yay vortek!!! I am very happy with my gear! I still think they should be taking pictures and posting all of the custom gear they do on their website! I would love for people to see the different color combo's out there!

This actually more of an off-shoot. This forum will allow Vortek to give you guys information on upcoming gear, sales, etc. I guess I should have clarified that in the welcome post, so my bad. Since this is a sponsored forum, Vortek Reps ARE allowed to advertise their products in this forum only.
Eventually as folks get used to it, this forum will be the official thread and more.

IMO I don't like this idea, just more forums to clutter the hot stove forum. I don't like it, but aslong as Vortek pays for it I like it. That just means that the forum has an income to pay for the bills!

This is true. We only have 'power' in this forum, we aren't getting paid...nada. I can't speak for Vision, but I can tell you why Marc asked me to be a mod for this forum - He knew I modded several other forums, including Civil Goalies in the end, and he knows me personally because I always go to his house to pick up my gear.

I don't know how much, and I truthfully don't want to know, but I do know that they do in fact pay Goalie Store to have this forum here.

I have a set of VK7s on order, 33+2 all white with orange and navy. Ordered beginning of this week, was told a 4 week delivery time (that sealed the deal for me) - can't wait! |
