UPDATE!
My flight was 10 hours late by the end of it. Got to vegas at 5 am(Originally the flgiht was 4 hours late and they were supposed to put us up in a hotel for free but that didnt happen as we got here at 5am)
But they screwed up our lugage. So we had to go out of security, and get it. When trying to check UA airlines did something and transfered us to delta, but didnt do it right.(NEVER GO US AIRLINES) so we had to wawit 30 min at the desk, and hour to get to the desk. So 11.5 hgours wasted so far. Then security. Since we were not american we got put in a line that had every bag fully checked. another hour and a half. Making us miss our flight. So we have 3 hours till the next one. 17 hours wasted so far, and probably more to come. might be a day or two till i make it from vegas to syracuse, to get to my trapper.

I've been without my bags that British Airways lost 3 months ago. I had a $1200 camera in it, plus a ****load of videotapes, memory cards, etc. on top of the normal clothes and whatnot.

I'll bet someone at British Airways read your niittymaki thread & assumed your camera was actually worth $100...

whoops typo... $1200 camera. If it was a $12000 camera British Airways would be no longer and their employees would have all suffered slow and agonizing deaths.

Nah, they just lost my good Sony. Luckily my Hasselblads have never left the house. They are cameras passed down from my father. Still it really pisses me off because that's my tour camera that I use to photograph my bands and I had half a tours worth of photos on those memory cards, not to mention countless irreplaceable moments of video on those DV tapes. It just sucks! I think they may have located my bag though as I had a message from BA yesterday where they said something about delivery confirmation.
PS: Sorry to hijack your thread Jeff!

yah im gone lol. the flight was later then it was supposed to be so we didnt get the hotel they promised, as we arrived in vegas at 3am. And dint leave till 3 pm.
After more delays, we crossed the border at 4 am liek 2 days after we left on our "12 hour flight home". So the UPS store wasnt open. ANd i coudlnt pick it up. I had to go to the border and claim i already purhcased it and have to go down to pick it back up, for beign otu fo the coutnry a week to get the duty free.
So i have to wait till thursday to drive back down, to pick up the glove. 2 hours back to the border to pick it up. If its anythign liek when i drove down 3 hour wati at the border again. All cause of US airways and them being horrible. Delta was amazing fixing at UA airways mistake.
Bad news; dont get glove till thrusday, missing 2 changes to try it out. But ill be getting it on by bday! and spending 4 hours dirving on my bday+whatever border delay is to ge tit.
