The Great Logo Debate

So a couple recent posts here have got me thinking, and here's what I've decided:

1. Personally, I don't like the look of no logo at all (too plain).
2. I'm not sure I like the screened-on logo look.
3. I don't want to go with no logo, as I feel that Vortek deserves the advertising.

I'm thinking that I'd like to see if there are any other logo "options" available. Like maybe a Jenpro Vortek logo sewn on where the current screen is, and taking the place of the "VK7" screen on the glove.

Does anyone else have anything other than the standard logo or no logo? I don't want to cheese out and get a brand name screen on the knees like old-stylr pads...but I do want something that's unique without being gaudy.

Logos are great, I think, and yes Vortek could use the extra advertising as they are making great products

But, why show the logo if they are not going to pay you to wear your gear?

I think its a personal preference and since Vortek is a custom pad maker, then it should be no issue if a customer prefers no logos. Obviously if they were to give free gear to a prominent goalie then it would make sense that they require logos on the gear.

As you may have seen, I have no logos on the face of my pads and thats also what makes them special to me and personalized. BTW I asked for the Vortek on the side to be in white so it would show off the name better than if it was done in blue as well....just in case the 3 wives that show up to our games asks me about the brand of pad I'm wearing.

I thank Marc and Glen for allowing me to go logoless on the front of my custom gear!

Because if you like the product, you should show off who its buy and be proud to wear the gear you are wearing.
